Here are the official site rules and procedures for PokeBoard. Not following them could mean punishment in the form of warnings, temporary bans or permanent bans.

Posting Rules

-Be respectful. No "flaming", "trolling", or personal attacks will be tolerated. This is a friendly forum.

-Spam is not allowed. Spam includes, but is not limited to, posting advertisements or links for websites and products that are not relevant or useful to the community.

-Do not post only to raise post count- all posts must be productive and add to the conversation. Furthermore, all posts outside of the "forum games" subforum must be at least 5 words long.

-Stay on topic. The opening post of each thread dictates the topic of the thread. Stick to it. Do not hijack others' threads or post off-topic.

-Do not bump your thread within a 48 hour (2 days) span.

-Do not post or pm anything illegal as per United States law (anything you aren’t sure about is probably illegal.) This includes information on how to get ROMs, pirated software, illegal movie streams, etc. It also means you cannot link to websites which purposefully contain illegal content.

-Do not make multiple accounts on PokeBoard. This means you also cannot share your account with anyone.

-Do not post in all capital letters.

-Do not post or pm anything that is obscene, vulgar, or inappropriate. This includes profanity and adult content such as pornography.

-Do not "backseat" moderate. If you see something breaking a rule, report it or pm a staff member about it.

Signature Rules

-Only 2 images are allowed in your signature. Only 1 may be bigger than a userbar or small icon. The large image may not be bigger than 175 pixels in height and it may not be wider than the theme (it shouldn't "break" the theme). You cannot use spoiler tags to get around this because the open spoiler is what counts.

-Do not post inappropriate content (as described in the "posting rules" section) in your signature.

General Information

If you come across something you believe is against the rules, click the report button in the lower right corner of the post and submit it for moderation. The staff reserves the right to change the rules and interpret them as we see fit. If you have specific questions about rules you may post them in the suggestions/feedback section. If you need to contact a staff member about a particular situation, please PM us.
