These are the PokeBoard League Rules. They MUST be followed in all official battles and gym battles.

Battle Medium
Battles must take place over wi-fi or Pokemon Online as decided by trainers. Gym leaders have the right to decide what they want to battle on in gym challenges.

Member Eligibility
Any PokeBoard member is allowed to join the league. There is no special sign-up and they can start battling right away.

Game Eligibility
ANY game that has been officially released in the UNITED STATES can be used in official/gym battles. This means that older generation games are still valid for official battles. When it comes to gyms, once again it is the gym leader's right to decide what games he/she will accept challenges on.

Pokemon Eligibility
All Pokemon aside from ubers are allowed.

Sleep Clause No trainer can put more than one Pokemon to sleep at a time. Self-induced sleep (rest) does not count towards this.

Item Clause No more than four of the same item may be used in one team.

Species Clause Only one of each species of Pokemon is allowed per team.

Self KO clause No trainer is allowed to end the match by using a self KOing move to force a draw. If a player violates this rule, it will automatically count as a loss and the opposing player will get the win.

OHKO clause No trainer is allowed to use one-hit KO moves.

Evasion clause No trainer may use evasive moves such as double team or minimize. Accupressure is allowed, however if the evassiveness of the Pokemon reaches more that +4 it must be substituted out immediately.
