Are my cards fake?

i just bought a royal guard theme deck of ebay for seven punds and i know its risky on ebay, but i was sure they wouldnt be fake, my friend warned me but i was sure of myself. then this morning, when i got my theme deck, i opended the free booster pack and all the cards had faded yellow borders around them but my emerging powers ones dont. i know for a fact that my magby card is a fake because it has a smudged fire ender next to its move, it also has no weakness, resistence or even retreat cost. my shiny magnezone card also has no pokedex description. i opended my theme deck and all the cards in there had faded borders arounds them. plz help cuz if there fakes i will hopefully return them.

Possibly the booster pack, yes. Are they seperate? If so, they seller may of accidently brought a fake booster pack and a real theme deck.

the royal guard theme dec comes with a booster pack inside it the cards in the actual theme deck look the same as the ones in the booster pack

Then its not fake.

If this is your Magnezone:



Then its not fake, the reason it doesn't have a Pokédex description is because its because its Magnezone Prime and a rare and very good and useful card. HGSS sets, I think excluding the first set, all had decks that came with booster packs. MrKyurem, it would help if you even did the tiniest bit of research before talking to our friend here, as its confusing him.

I brought a Royal Guard theme deck and no booster pack came with it, so does that make my deck fake?

if my cards are not fake then why are the sides of my cards not completely yellow and why does my magby have no retreat cost and have a smudged energy symbol

Its attack has no cost, and it has no retreat cost ;)

what about all my other cards they have faded borders so are they baby cards aswell or something plz reply this is very confusing as i really want to use these cards

What would be optimal, is you posting a few pics of your cards, i guess they are real, because this is the design nowadays ;P

ill try and ask my dad if i can take a picture of a few of them so you can judge that but theres no spelling mistakes on any of them so do you think its the old design???

Probably.

And, Silversuri, that image looks real. Most HGSS cards had the faded yellow border, as it looked like silver and gold.
