Daily Pokemon Discussion

Okay, I sorta came up with an idea, but I am not sure if its been done yet. Its called Daily Pokemon Discussion where for that particular day, a certain Pokemon will be discussed and rated. The discussions could range from Anime appearances, to game stats, to even design.

We shall start with Metagross


Metagross is kinda cool to me. He is my favorite solo-steel type (Bisharp is my favorite overall steel). He has an awesome design and is quite scary looking.

I am not big on statistics, but I am pretty sure he has high defense stats and attack stats (he is a steel type).

Yeah he's okay i like him for beign a syko legendary

He does have good special defence & defence + Calm mind & agilliy which makes this pokèmon awesome.

He's a pseudo* legendary.

...He's almost a legendary.

I didn't know he was psuedo-legendary. He must be pretty powerful then I thought. I like his shiny look as well. The only thing I hate is how long it takes to evolve him. I also had bad experiences catching a nearly impossible to catch Beldum in Diamond.

Metagross, I wasn't much of a fan of them, but that didn't stop me from actually raising one. (In Emerald, though) Out of all its moves, Meteor Mash is my favorite. Other than that, yeah, I don't use it unless for the Pokedex. I'm more fond of Aggron. But, that doesn't mean Meta is bad! I've seen it in competitive play, especially against me. It's Bullet Punch hurts, should it be EV trained correctly, like in attack then speed. (from my understanding and experience, of course)

Anyway, I don't see any harm in this thread, it's just when people come in and put in three words that are spammy or have nothing to do with the topic is when it gets troubled. So, peeps, actually add discussion about the Pokemon. Because I'll be watching you! Thanks! :3

I love when it uses Meteor Mash & Psychic.

Yep, that Bullet Punch does hurt, I must agree with you there, Galdr, but thanks for allowing this thread to stay.

I am not big on the mineral-types anyway {steel, rock, and ground}. Metagross is my favorite steel-type. Agron is cool too, but Meta is awesome. He reminds me, I don't know why, of a post-apocalptic robot huntig the land in search of surviving humans. I don't know why, but thats what I see when I see a Metagross.

He reminds me of an psychic robot about to use fly.

I also like Metagross. He is purely AWESOME!!! Though I must agree with my sister here, it is a pain to get him evolved.

Yeah he should evolve more earlier.

Yeah, hey, CJ, remember that Beldum we caught in Diamond? Wasn't he the most difficult to catch.

Sorry to interrupt that conversation, but I have Platinum & it was bare easy to catch.

Yep, I remember good ole Bell. He was hard to catch. et, in the end, I still remember when I chucked that Premium Ball and caught him. Bell was the best Metang we ever caught. (He never evolved into Metagross sadly)

This was my movesets
Calm Mind
Agility
Psychic
Meteor Mash.

He was just a great lead. Reliably setting up stealth rocks. Destroying Aerodactyl and one of the few pokemon that could threaten machamp back in 4th gen

Agiligross was just too easy to wall though. As a sweeper he's lack luster.

8/10 last gen. 6/10 this gen.

Garchomp



Garchomp is by far my favorite ground-based dragon. He has a lot of good moves, if ya ask me. The best moveset that I ever gave my Garchomp was

-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Pulse
-Dragon Claw
-Flamethrower

Another psuedo-legendary.

I like Flygon a bit more. Just because when I hadn't played Emerald it was my favorite- Or at least Trapinch. Tapinch is pretty cute, though my new favorite is Chandelure...

But yeah, back onto the Garchomp- It's confusing, in one of it's pokedex descriptions, it says that it's wings can make it fly, though it can't learn that.

Yeah, PKMN, that is weird. I think I know why it can't learn Fly. Well, I can't see anybody sitting on a Garchomp in midair, so yeah, maybe thats why it can't use Fly.

I think Gible is kinda cool, but Garchomp is awesome. He is my only favorite Dragon-type that doesn't stay airborne most of the time.
