Differences [Private]

Sinnoh Region.

It was new, bright, colorful, just like it was back at home. Ina, she didn't understand what was so special about this country, other than "mysterious wild creatures with magic powers" lived here. That, and other Riploids were moving here, to boot. The technology here wasn't as advanced, but maybe down the road they would. Ina, she was a Riploid. A human-like android. Her flowing white hair captured in the breezy wind as the ship in Canalave dropped her off. "Aye, miss, this is the Canalave City of Sinnoh!" the sailor said happily, smiling to her. Ina, being quite short, glanced up at him, carrying a rather small bag with her. Apparently, her professor made various modifications to her unit, so most of her weaponry was disabled and replaced with a more "feminine appearance". What was this, a vacation? The android had on her regular black, white and blue attire, just without her helmet.

In her bag, she carried the necessary women things, like change of clothes. Clothes? Humans "changed" clothes so why her? This was going to be annoying. "...Thank you." the Riploid said, deciding to take a look around the port city. A lot of humans were walking around, chatting about, reading books--obvious that a grand library was here--and those mysterious creatures that had been mentioned before. "Pokemon", they were labeled, short for Pocket Monsters. Monsters that fit in your pocket, she guessed. Ina saw a particular human with a dog like Pokemon. The creature was marvelous, orange fur with black, tiger like stripes over the body and a creamish mane flowing magically in a nonexistent wind.

A Flygon was randomly flying above the city. Her name was Sophia. She had no trainer and didn't plan on having one anytime soon. She preferd to live on her own. She just watched everyone below her and desided to take a break and flew down to a near by Route to take a break from flying.

"Hey there! You must have came off that boat not long ago, huh?" the person next to the orange, black-striped creature said. Ina simply nodded, her sapphire eyes still staring at the half behemoth-sized dog. The young man caught sight of her gaze and smiled. "Oh, this is my Arcanine. He's friendly! Go ahead and pet him!" Ina was doubtful that this creature would be "nice". She was told to be this "nice" to others.

But, no, now wasn't the time.

"No...thank you. I must be going. T...hank you anyhow. Goodbye." she told the Trainer, leaving him robotically. The man stared at her as she went, but decided maybe today wasn't the day to hit on a pretty girl.

As Ina was strolling through Canalave, trying to find some sort of inn to stay at, a speedy, shadowy figure flew overhead. The Riploid paused her steps and looked up the moment it did, catching sight of something green blaze by in the sky. That was awkward. Ina thought, perhaps this was another one of those Pokemon creatures. Clueless and curious, the female Riploid targeted where the creature could have landed and headed straightway in its direction. No time for trying to find the inn, now. This discovery was much more important.

Sophia landed on the ground silently and folded her wings. She was tired from the constent flying all day she did. She enjoyed it sure, but sometimes over does it with the flying. She streched and layed down near a tree. She wasn't going to sleep, just taking a break. She had her eyes open. It was daylight so she had to stay awake to avoid being caught by trainers.

After scurrying through the multitude of various humans in the way, Ina submerged from under them, finding her way towards the Canalave Gate. It was the only other exit out of the vast city, thank goodness, and the flying being had flown in said direction. Her visionary scanners went on, confirming her accurate sight-seeing. "I'm getting closer." She told herself as she continued her spy-like trek forward. More people and their Pokemon got in the way, the Riploid avoiding them at all costs as she darted for her destination.

The white-haired android was so close...

Until another guy stopped her. It was a skinny man with a dark brown mohawk, sporting a cool, sly look, a thin, white tank top, leather black jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes. He also had the audacity to have a piece of weed in his mouth. Ew. "Hey there, sweet thing. Where are you going in such a hurry?" He said, obviously trying to hit on her. Ina stopped abruptly in front of him, his way of dialect unfamiliar to her.

"Computing and downloading dialect of human species. . ." she said, tapping her the left side of her forehead, which was a switch to allow her to "scan" the man. Her pupil-less eyes had many binary digits running across them, and a second later, after getting the man a little freaked out, she said, "You need a dictionary. Your way of speaking is atrocious. I suggest you purchase such tome at the library." With that insult of truth, she leapt over him with elegant ease, finding her path back towards where she had seen the flying creature.

Many others had stared at her when she did so, the obvious Biker blankly staring. "What the..." was all he said. Ina found herself outside in what appeared to be a "route". A nearby sign read "Route 218: Jubilife City to Canalave City." Well, so much for that. Her indicators signaled that her target was getting closer, so by following it, she walked through the tall grass, avoiding many of the wild creatures, as they avoided her. She didn't exaclty smell human to be attacking anyway...

Sophia then stood up and streched. She felt a bit ,ore rested and desided to walk for now. As she walk she she noticed some human looking for something. Wounder what she`s looking for... Sophia thought. She then noriced a bush behimd her qnd took a berry off of it and began eatin it.

Ina stops when she hears a noise. Thinking it's the creature from before, she attempts to take out her arma cannon! Well, attempted. It was modified as well to a rather smaller size than before. Bummer. The creature that popped up was an orange weasel looking thing with two tails. It looked at her funny before scampering off in fear of getting blasted. The white-haired Riploid silently watched the Pokemon, she assumed, go off, and lowered her weapon as it shifted back into a regular arm. Ina continues her trek through the tall grass, seeing a few human males with fishing poles fishing in the water. And, almost adjacent to them, within a small little forested alcove, her indicator beeped to signal her the target was very close.

Accepting it, Ina moved in close like a ninja, and soon enough, saw the green looking reptile with diamond-shaped wings and striped tail with diamond-like fans upon the edge. It had picked off something in the bushes nearby and ate them. Measuring its size upclose to the creature that had flown over Canalave earlier, this indeed was a match. "These Pokemon are very strange creatures, indeed." she told herself as she switched off her scanner mode. Her dark sapphire eyes gleamed at this draconic being, she guessed. It was majestic, and also looked formidable if provoked, apparently. Ina didn't know if Pokemon had another language they spoke in or not, so the android stepped closer and stared at it. "I don't know if you speak anything outside of human language, but you flew over the city not long ago." She told the dragon thing, having a monotonous tone attached to her voice.

Sophia looked at the human, or at lest she assumed her to be human. "Yeah, I can speak like you humans." She said, smiling. She was being a bit catious though, not knowing the intentions of this girl. "I know I flew overhead, I do every day." She added.

Ina continued to stare at this magnificent beast, whom just spoken a word of the same language as humans, and Riploids, apparently, did. "So you speak the modern language of humans. How is that so?" The android inquired, her arms stationed in a crossing fashion. "Are you not such a creature with your own...dialect?"

Sophia rubbed the back of her head. "I don`t know how I`m able to speak like humans but hay, it comes in handy sometimes." Sophia replied. hmmm, this person speaks in really technical terms. I wounder why this is so... Sophia thought to herself.

"You are...a very strange one, indeed." Ina tells the Flygon, uncrossing her arms. "I have detected you as a possible threat to the humans. However, by scanning you previously, you do not, by terms, have any signs of threat meters rising. I will dismiss myself from your presence. Good day to you." The Riploid bids her awkward, robotically spoken farewell to the Ground/Dragon-type, letting her be as she was a wild creature not to be tampered with. The android bypassed another round of Pokemon, this time a Gastrodon of pink color. It was too slow moving to really attack her, but it wasn't going to anyway. When the white-haired Riploid vanished through the city gate, the Gastrodon shuddered. "That was one strange human being. In fact, she didn't even smell like a human..."

Sophia shugged. "That was one....odd human." She said as she unfolded her wings and flew off.

A man in red shirt watched as the female ran back into the city. He scanned her as she ran by and comfirmed her to be a riploid. "Never thought I`d see another riploid around here..." He muttered.

Ina searched around to find a building with a red roof. This might be the inn. So, without further or do, she stepped into the building, a little amused as the door automatically opened. Guess they had those here, too. When she stepped inside, more humans were inside, some lined up at a counter to wait for their Pokemon to get healed, others relaxing or lounging around. The white-haired android simply bypassed them, coming to a counter with a woman sitting behind it. She had dark blond hair, green, woman's suit on and had bright brown eyes. "Hello, welcome to the Pokemon Center! are you here to rent out a room, ma'am?" the receptionist asked. Ina pondered a little bit before coming to a decision. "Yes, renting." The woman took out a form and produced it to the android, not knowing she was one because of her humanoid appearance. "Please fill out this form here, ma'am." Ina blinked when she was handed the pen, having never done this before. Everything back home was usually done automated; they were doing these things by...paper? Oh well. As best and neatly as possible, the Riploid scanned the document, filling out each section with precision. After a minute of signing, she returned the form to the woman, who handed her a bronze key. "To your room, it is room 19." The receptionist says.

After taking the key, awkwardly, Ina finds the stairs leading up, walking up them and scanning around again until she finds the number 19 on a door. Ina inserts the key, and enters the rented room, finding it as clean as the rooms back at her original homeland. "...Seems tidy." she says, putting her bag on the nearest room's chair before exiting and relocking the door.

Sophia yawned and landed in a large tree outside of the city. Man am I tired. She thought as she layed in a branch.

The man from before came into the center and ordered a room. Once he did the paper work he went to his room and taped a buton on his arm and changed into red armor. "Uhg, human clothing is odd." He muttered.

Right when Ina came downstairs, apparently, another person had came into to fill out a form and rent a room himself. The white-haired android blankly stared at the figure as he went upstairs from whence she had came, though, at another stairway. This was a suspicious character. Ina didn't tap her scanner on to download the man's signature, so out of curiosity, she followed him. There was also something familiar about him, but she couldn't put her Riploid finger on.

The man sighed and opened a computer on his arm but forgot to lock his door. He was looking up things He'll need to 'fit in' in this world. uhg. Humans are so odd in this time. I mean, I know humans from my time but they are not like the ones of this time. He thoght.

Ina stopped herself from going upstairs fully to follow the man with flowing, golden hair. Something just told her not to. And, it appeared on the nearest TV screen. A man with white hair, beard and wearing a light blue vest, thick, white, long sleeve shirt, and dark blue slacks was on. He was talking about the Pokemon creatures that were in Sinnoh, saying that "everyone should experience and get a thrill out of traveling with a Pokemon!". Seriously? The white-haired Riploid studied the man on the TV screen before hearing his name, Professor Rowan, was located in a town called Sandgem. Ina browsed around to see there was a map on a wall nearby, unoccupied. She made her way there, glancing at each location, reading and memorizing them. Soon, to the southeast, she found the appointed town, Sandgem. It didn't seem so far away... well maybe for humans. It went over a route 218, namely filled with water. That was where she had met that Flygon. "hm.." she pondered.

Sophia comtinued to sleep in the large tree, out of sight from any humans. She was glad to get some rest. She was glad to be asleep after all the flying around today.

The man closed the computer on his arm and had his armor take the form of human clothing and closed his door the rest of the way and layed on his bed. After a few moments he got up and opened his door. might as well do something. He thought as he walked out the door and down stairs.

Ina turned away from the map she was looking at and turned to see the same guy with the unnaturally long, blond hair coming down the stairs. Her blue eyes kept watching him as he continued onward, wondering what he was going to do next. Still, something about that man seemed so familiar. Just what exactly was it and why? Ina shook the thought from her head and decided to head on out of the center anyway. She would need to pay this Professor Rowan a visit. "Sounds like an accomplished human being." she said to herself, now exiting the building like a robot. She ran over towards the gate that connected Canalave and route 218, once again. This time, she meant to cross over the sea path. It didn't seem that long of a distance, but still looked far. However, not too far for her. "Hover Blades: On." Ina commanded, her boots now swapping out their bottom portion for jet-pack ignition, and exerting pressure build up to lift the young woman Riploid up from the ground. Some nearby fisherman looked over and his eyes widened like dinner plates as the android zipped past him, gliding over the water's surface as if ice skating.

"...whoa. Teenagers these days..." he said, still staring in the direction she left.
