As a revamp of the TCG, the next Japanese set being released will be introducing a whole new type: Dragon .
There, so far, has not been a Dragon type Pokémon that uses a Dragon energy and they incorporate the other 8 types into their attacks. Their only weaknesses are Dragon type.
Here are a few of the dragon cards:
Salamence

ABILITY: Arrogant Wind
Your opponent discards cards from his or her hand until he or she has 4 in their hand. You can use this ability once during your turn.

This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on the Defending Pokémon.

This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on the Defending Pokémon.

During your opponent's next turn, any damage done to this Pokémon is reduced by 20.
FgMC Dual Chop 90×
Flip 2 coins. This attack does 90 damage times the number of heads.
I'm not sure how much this will change the TCG, but I'm hoping this change will totally renew the TCG. Also, what do you think of this change? Is it a good thing they moved Dragon from colourless to its own type?
If the pokemon TCG is good at something, it's making small changes so people have to buy almost the exact same card.
Also, this goes without saying, but if zekrom and reshiram are changed to dragon, that will change a lot of decks and how people counter certain set ups.
I'm sure they're bound to release Reshiram and Zekrom in the set. They've released them in every set or as a pre-release promo for every bloody set so far.
I think this would be an awesome change to the game! I have always loved dragons, and now they got their own type ^^ (no more weakness from ditto lol)
