Yes. Pokemon eat other pokemon.

And having your partner die of old age in the middle of your journey would be a bit morbid, and slightly traumatizing for the innocent appeal of pokemon. But yes, pokemon also die.

I have no idea, there isn't a lot of lore besides the pokedex entries and none of it really concerns what the pokemon does once captured.

But if we try to bring like... science fiction into this, a pokeball is a kind of matter transfer device. Then the interior is probably some kind of suspension. Because the pokemon can't solidify and take actual form inside of the tiny ball, I doubt it ages.

but there is a disadvantage though if pokemon just get knock out and dont die...... and pokemon just make more eggs so that means that pokemon are like taking over......... and but there is something called pc box where trainers put there extra pokemon........

why are you trying to logically analyse a childrens show about magical animals stored in minuscule balls by ten year olds who are kicked out of their houses so they can partake in borderline animal abuse to try and attain vague, impossible goal

Uhhhmmmm u have a point pokemon game makers or show makers targeted ages 9-12. so they dont actually show how pokemon dies infront of children.

Pokemon do die, but since Pokemon is for kids, they are not shown dying. There are many instances where it is mentioned;

Anime:
Latios (In the movie)
Ash...somewhat dies int he first movie, but is brought back to life.

Game:
Tectonix (It's a Onix tail shaped grave in FRLG)
Marowak (Cubone's mother killed by Team Rocket)

Yea that is a pokemon. Its in like every episode.

That's so absurd. This is impossible. If Pokémon clone every enter to Pokéball, they can't be trained. For example, Snivy always knows same attacks. No more, no different.
