In-Game Teams in RMT.
Do you think that In-Game teams (not competitive/Wi-Fi) teams should be here? Why or why not?
I think they should. Even though they don't face every other possible team, only the ones programmed into the game, I think they should still be able to receive criticism. You know, so that they can fight well against Gym Leaders and the Elite Four.
Don't forget about places like the Battle Subway. That's pretty close to Wi-Fi too, just without some Legendaries.

RE: In-Game Teams in RMT.
I think they should but they should really come with a tag; INGAME.
I don't mind seeing in-game teams here, but they end up being treated like they're competitive. If we have the INGAME tag, it would let people know that there will be the silly HMs (Seeing as they're a must in all but Gen V) and that there will be starters and it will prevent people recommending moves you can't get until after the main game (Like Energy Ball on most Gen V Pokémon)

RE: In-Game Teams in RMT.
No, does anyone know how to even rate an in game team?
It's common knowledge that the in game is easy. That you can beat the elite four with almost any pokemon. So what are we supposed to rate it against? You flat out don't need type synergy, or any kind of strategy for in game. So what would be the point of rating it? There isn't.
And the best part, you can't tell someone to change anything about their in game teams, because hey, as I said before, they can beat the game with any pokemon.
No point. Shouldn't happen.

RE: In-Game Teams in RMT.
No need for in game team rating. You can always beat the game with high leveled pokemons. However if someone wants you to rate their in game team I would suggest them creating the thread here instead somewhere else.

Also an option. Maybe we could get this up on the poll?

I'd rather it just get a [In-Game] Tag, But I'd think that it should be serious and not just be a "Squirtle, Pidgey x 3 and Rattata x 2" sort of ordeal.
Perhaps In-Game teams have to follow an exact form otherwise they will be locked, this should keep all the riffraff and crappy team thread that people will make to a minimum.

Has anything been decided, it seems to be In-Game teams are winning with 7 votes, but no one has discussed it.

RE: In-Game Teams in RMT.
I see it as a maybe and a don't. I also don't mind in-game teams. I mean, you can still give criticism for it, just not for competitive play. However, the RMT is for competitive though, and not to get it confused with in-game. Maybe another subforum for them would ideal, to prevent clutter. Even with the [IN-GAME] tag on it, it'll look unprofessional and cluttery. Nobody likes mixed up things. Also, if such threads were put in the Pokemon Video Games section, it'll look, once again, messy and disorganized.
So maybe vouch for a subforum for them, like Cypher suggested. For now, not to try and contradict myself, but putting in-game criticism teams in PVG section should be okay. But like Action said, "how can we rate them?". People are stubborn to change the Pokemon necessary for a good "strategy" I guess. But, who needs strategy to beat the game anyway? It's good to have one, but it doesn't take rocket science to trail through the game. This is my two cents on this.
