Super Mario 3d Land - Infinite Lives Trick!!

In World 1-2, there are many ways to get 99 lives- Oh, wait! Did you know this is the first Super Mario game to go past 99 Lives? Yep, now you go go all the way to... Well... Infinity!! Then, on to the way to get
Infinite Lives...

When entering World 1-2, proceed over everything until the first introduction of the Koopa Troopa. Note that, and continue to the Check point. Capture the flag, and return to the Koopa. Jump on it to make it retreat into it's shell. Turn to the 4th wall and hop on the Koopa's shell causing it to bump back between the 4th wall and the other side of the trench. Put Mario in the position that keeps 'causing him to jump, and set you 3DS down for a few minutes. When you come back, you should have three Crown Symbols, indicating that you have this trick right!

*Remember, you're being timed, so when you see the time get low, stop jumping and die. You'll respawn at the check point and with almost full time. Return doing the routine until the 3 crowns replace your lives.

...Congrats on finding that Munchy!

It's not really needed though. Like I went through most of the game with 60-70 lives... But still this is cool!

Interesting, I'll keep this in mind for when I play it.

Haven't had a chance to yet though but it looks fun, loved the previous Mario game for the DS and this new one reminds me a lot of Mario 64 which was awesome as well.

I ended up using it for everything being maxed out, when I get all 100%ed. (Stupid random ? Box Star Coins) So yeah loved the no hat touch, and the sound effect that plays when you get the 3 crowns.
