What is your favorite style of making a tag?
Me, I like to give them a glowing shine and playing with brushes.

Yeah, I like to give them a shine too. I really like them to stand out most of the time. What type of graphic do you like to make the most anyway?

RE: Artistic Design [GFX Club]
Avatars are a little hard for me because there is not that much room for you to do the background and all. What I usually do is if the customer requested an avatar, I make them a banner, then crop out the main focal of the banner and make it the avatar. So they get a banner and an avatar! It's a great deal even if they didn't request for a banner. Smile

RE: Artistic Design [GFX Club]
decapitated it
Took the original sprite and removed the head and fixed some missing parts.
Real easy but some *like the Squirtle one, shudders* NEVER turn out well...

This does look interesting, I might join.
Would this fit in well in the "Graphics Tutorials" section? With it being a tutorials thread, resources, and an index for the other tutorials to do with graphics, it could be stickied there.
I'll submit an application when I have enough things I've made, and I think they're better than average.

Well thanks for moving it. Though it could get stickied because this thread could be very helpful to find renders, information, ect. Though it's your choice really. Smile

EDIT: Also welcome Spiri, our Assistant designer and AxA, our new member.

So what program do you think is the best guys?

- Gimp
- Photoshop
- Paint.Net
- MS Paint
- Sai
- Adobe Illustrator

I like Gimp the best. It's free, and very easy to use. Smile
