Warning: do not try to cheat the Poke Dollar system

The staff has brought to my attention several cases where it looks like members are trying to cheat the Poke Dollar system using various tricks to falsely length posts and funnel PD in dubious ways to certain accounts.

PD "boosting" is against the rules just as post count boosting is and if anyone is suspected of doing it and there is a decent body of evidence, you might be fined PD or even lose the ability to earn PD altogether. DO NOT TRY TO CHEAT THE PD SYSTEM AND YOU WILL BE FINE.

As an anti-boosting measure, new member accounts now start with 0 PD instead of 25 also.

What if we are not purposely doing this? Or are these methods obvious?

to hell that cheaters.. pokedollars are earned by posting thread-related posts and not by making that wretched actions like that post-extenders.

Shh Cypher, I'm pretty sure there is a secret tribunal dedicated to this pokedollar fraud. We wouldn't want to anger them. Stay away from the summoner! Retain a fair distance from the conjurer!

I don't actually know why someone would want a massive surplus of monopoly money. It's not like having 20 grand of pokedollars gets you anything.

Also is it just me, or is it easier to make PD now? I've recently like... doubled in cash.

...How would you even 'cheat' it? Wouldn't that just be spamming...?

...And what if we do it by accident, like accidently put a tag, that didn't work, what if someone suspected that? Then what? No usertitles.

Maybe people are cheating this because everything is overpriced, 100 PD for the lottery? 75 was way too high already... 500 to change a usertitle? One line that comes under your name, really?

The methods spoken of are obvious. It'd be rather difficult to do it by accident.

...Especially if you're actually using the buttons, all of your tags can get messed up, especially if like, you end with a green color, edit something in the first line, and the [/color] goes up there, and is only [/color]

Before edit pops up, if it's been a hard day, getting rushed, or it was a huge post, you don't care to read it over.

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure the tags aren't an issue, but I won't speak for PL.

Okay, just wondering because sometimes I can f-f-f-fail! At life! (The f- thing was on purpose, this isn't 50 chaaracters, so yeah.)

It is easier to make PD. A couple of weeks ago, i was just posting some of my Roleplay, and I got around 50 PD for it, but I didn't notice until i had around 900 PD from my original 60.... I guess PL just updated the site.

I think the rate at which you get PD has been increased as well as the 50 character limit being reduced, it's become increasingly easy to gain PD.
